Angus Fraser took time out of his busy schedule yesterday to visit two of our largest state schools, Featherstone High and Kingsbury Academy, to see first-hand how B20 is helping people to choose cricket! Much to the delight of Middlesex Cricket and the Schools, Angus was also joined by Sky Sports News and BBC London News to see this exciting format in action.
Angus commented… “It is great to see so many boys and girls playing cricket. To see so many smiling faces shows how much enjoyment the game can bring to people, even in arctic conditions. Being active and having fun is what the game is all about!”
B20 Cricket is Middlesex Cricket's new flagship participation product which is a fast and fun way to play! The format comprises of two twenty balls innings, with a game taking approximately 20 minutes to complete, perfect for lunchtime activities, competitions and club training sessions. B20 Cricket can be played by anyone, on any surface, and with any equipment!
When are you going to give B20 Cricket a try? If your school, club or company would like an introductory session please get in contact with Sharon Eyers (Head of Children & Fans) at sharon.eyers@middlesexccc.com
