Middlesex County Cricket Club and Marylebone Cricket Club have an exciting opportunity for a paid physiotherapy internship within the Science and Medicine Department.
This is a seasonal position from April 2017 until mid-September 2017.
Details
To work with a small team of physiotherapists providing cover to Middlesex County Cricket Club and Marylebone Cricket Club.
The role will involve covering training sessions and matches as well as treatment and rehabilitation of players.
Due to the nature of the cricket schedule the role will involve some evening and weekend work.
To assist with physiotherapy cover for major matches and test matches at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The role will be primarily based at Lord’s Cricket Ground and facilities in North London but may involve some travel within the country.
On the job training and a structured in-service program will be provided.
You will report to and work under the Lead Physiotherapist.
Requirements
Physiotherapy degree and member of HPC and CSP.
A full driving license and ideally access to a car as job involves travelling to a variety of locations.
Pitch side first aid qualification (help can be given to achieve this)
Salary
Circa £800pcm plus expenses (circa 25 hours a week)
