EALING CRICKET CLUB DIRECTOR OF CRICKET/MIDDLESEX CRICKET YOUTH COACH
Ealing Cricket Club (ECC), a leading Premier League club in Middlesex, and Middlesex Cricket (MCCC) are looking to appoint a full time joint position as Director of Cricket of ECC and Youth Coach at Middlesex Cricket.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of Senior and Junior Cricket at ECC and will play an active part in the Middle Cricket Player Pathway through involvement in County Age Group cricket and Regional programmes.
For ECC, the successful candidate will need to build upon the foundations that are in place and continue to grow and improve cricket at the club. A critical element of the job will to maintain the link between the Junior and Senior sections of the club, ensuring Colts are being developed and integrated into Senior Cricket.
As a focal point of the club, applicants need to have good social, organisational, man management and coaching skills. Some entrepreneurial and business skills would also be of added benefit. The successful candidate will ideally have played first-class or minor counties cricket and it would be preferable, albeit not essential, if they were available to play Senior Cricket on Saturdays.
In addition, for Middlesex Cricket, the successful candidate will deliver an elite coaching programme for one Middlesex Cricket County Age Group and an elite coaching programme in the Middlesex Cricket South Region (the London Boroughs of Ealing and Inner London Boroughs) to aid the identification and development of potential first-class cricketers in the area.
The successful candidate should ideally to hold a UKCC Level 3 qualification. The successful candidate will be remunerated with a competitive basic salary and incentives.
Candidates who are interested in applying for this position should contact John Poore, President, ECC (email: john.poore@btconnect.com), including a summary letter and their CV, by no later than Sunday 28 January 2018.
Interviews are planned to be held in early February 2018 with a view to the job commencing in the first half of March 2018.
