Job Purpose...

The Middlesex Participation Team is responsible for implementing the Middlesex Cricket Participation strategy in 17 London Boroughs that form the county of Middlesex. We are extremely proud to be part of a vibrant city and strongly believe in the power of sport and its ability to unify communities, develop people and improve environments. This role is key to growing local participation opportunities in the Boroughs of Ealing & Hounslow and contributing to growing the game in Middlesex.

Duties...

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:

• To organise and deliver coaching sessions & awareness activities in schools, colleges & community environments
• To link all school activity to exit routes whether traditional or non-traditional
• To support & deliver All Star Cricket centres in target boroughs
• To umpire and score at all Middlesex school and community competitions
• To support the delivery of Participation Team community events and Middlesex Cricket match day activation
• To coach and develop Street Cricket Hubs across the County
• To assist in wider development activities in accordance with the Middlesex Cricket Participation Strategic Plan, contributing to the responsibilities of the Participation Team as directed by the Director of Participation.

Skills/Qualifications...

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Disclosure and Barring System Check (assistance available)
• UKCC2 Certificate of Cricket Coaching
• First Aid Certificate (assistance available)
• Safeguarding Young Cricketers Certificate (assistance available)
• Ability to travel by public transport to various locations
• Ability to work to individual and team targets
• Ability to adopt a positive Customer Service approach
• Experience of coaching in various environments
• Ability to communicate with key stakeholders and customers
• Motivated and committed to personal development.
