There was a splendid turnout at this year's Seaxe Awards Evening held in the Father Time bar at Lord's on Friday 13th April, writes Glen Birkwood.
With the award winners and their families present to give their support. We were also delighted to have our first eleven players together with Gus Fraser, Clive Radley MBE and Mike Gatting OBE, who very generously agreed to present the awards - something which I'm sure will remain in the memory of the youngsters for years to come.
We would lke to take this opportunity to thank Millichamp and Hall for their provision of a great number of prizes. Gratefully received and thank you from the Seaxe Club.
The proceedings were opened and hosted by Mike O'Farrell, the Seaxe and Middlesex Chairman. He reminded all present of the objectives of Seaxe in supporting cricket at all levels throughout the County and of the successes that have been the result of this support.
