EOIN MORGAN SIDELINED AFTER CHIPPING BONE IN FINGER
Middlesex are disappointed to announce that England white ball captain Eoin Morgan has chipped a bone in the end of a finger and will be out of tomorrow’s Royal London One-Day Cup clash against Hampshire at Merchant Taylors’ School and Sunday’s London derby against Surrey at Lord’s.
Morgan picked up the injury whilst fielding against Somerset in Taunton on Sunday and on top of missing this week’s Royal London One-Day Cup clashes for Middlesex, will also miss out on captaining the ICC World XI against the West Indies at Lord’s on Thursday.
We wish Eoin a speedy return to fitness.
