COME AND MEET THE MIDDLESEX STARS OF YESTERYEAR

ANNUAL MIDDLESEX PLAYERS ASSOCIATION EVENT - MONDAY 23RD JULY 2018

On day two of Middlesex's County Championship clash against Warwickshire at Lord's the week after next, the Middlesex Players Association will be holding their annual event, where former players of the club get together and reminisce on their playing days with the club.

If you want to come and meet an array of Middlesex stars from yesteryear, then this is your perfect opportunity, as at 1pm they'll be heading to the Coronation Garden, behind the Warner stand, where members and supporters are welcome to come and meet their heroes for a chat.

Last year's inaugural event proved hugely popular with the players, with over 80 former Middlesex cricketers in attendance, and this year is proving no different, with a larger attendance expected.

The likes of Mike Gatting, John Emburey, Norman Cowans, Mike Brearley, JT Murray, Clive Radley, Mark Ramprakash, Raj Maru, Ron Hooker, Harry Latchman and many others have already confirmed their attendance for this year's event, so if you'd like to meet them, then head to Lord's on Monday 23rd July and be in the Coronation Garden from 1pm.

The Middlesex Players Association is open and available to any male cricketer who has been contracted to the club and has played at least one first-class, List-A or twenty20 fixture for Middlesex in the past, or to any female cricketer who has represented the Middlesex Women's senior squad in either the fifty over or T20 county competitions. If any past players have not heard from us about this event, but would like to attend, please contact Hannah.baxter@middlesexccc.com.
