With many of the first team squad plying their trade around the world during the winter months, we'll be keeping a close eye on their progress and will be updating you here on who has been performing well on their travels!
Here are the highlights so far:
Martin Andersson: West Torrens CC (Australia)
Martin marked his debut appearance for West Torrens with an impressive unbeaten 80 in a drawn match against Adelaide, before notching up 92 against Adelaide University over the weekend as his side progressed onto 195/2 with the second half of the game to be played over the next weekend.
Stephen Eskinazi: Sydney CC (Australia)
Stephen most recently hit 89 for Sydney CC, with his side closing on 380/4 against UTS North Sydney with another weekend to be played.
James Harris: Northern District CC (Australia)
James Harris has just begun his season with Northern District, but has showed early promise batting further up the order than he would normally be used to, scoring 30 runs batting at 3. Despite this, his side eventually went on to lose against Woodville.
Eoin Morgan: Kerala Knights (UAE T10)
Eoin was one of 2 Middlesex players who represented Kerala Knights in the 2nd season of the UAE T10 league. In the campaign, he top scored with an unbeaten 46. Sadly, the side were not able to progress into the latter rounds of the competition.
Sam Robson: Eastern Suburbs (Australia)
Sam Robson got off to a solid start for Eastern Suburbs, scoring 68 on debut for the side as they went on to beat Penrith.
Paul Stirling: Kerala Knights (UAE T10)
Paul Stirling joined up with Eoin to represent Kerala Knights in the UAE T10, top scoring with an unbeaten explosive 60 for the side.
Robbie White: Kensington CC (Australia)
Robbie White has claimed the highest score amongst our players in Australia so far, recently hitting 185 for Kensington CC in his last outing despite his side losing to Woodville.
We expect no less than 9 Middlesex players to feature in matches abroad in some capacity over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for the next edition of Winter Watch to monitor how they’ve been performing!
