Middlesex Cricket, founded in 1864, is one of eighteen First-Class Counties
The County of Middlesex comprises of 17 London Boroughs north of the river Thames, to Richmond and Hounslow in the West, Tower Hamlets and Hackney in the East, and up to the Northern Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Harrow.
Middlesex Youth Cricket comprises of three tiers (Borough, Regional and County Age Group). Players selected into these three tiers come from the 17 London Boroughs that make up the County of Middlesex.
Borough Fixtures are played in May/June with players selected for one of four Regional sides following these games. The successful candidate will help to transition players from Borough into the South Region, and then run the Regional Programme for the series of training and matches.
Middlesex Cricket run County Age Group teams at u11 – u15 and then u17 and an u19 team, with these sides playing a mixture of formats against the neighbouring Minor and First Class Counties in the London and East Region. The fixtures take place on Sundays or during school holidays, with the home fixtures being based at Merchant Taylors School which is the home of Middlesex Youth Cricket.
