With the 2019 ICC World Cup in full flow and the England vs Australia Ashes series just around the corner, the country has been well and truly gripped by a brilliant summer of entertaining cricket.
This enthusiasm has been mirrored by youngsters across our own county of Middlesex, as more young cricket lovers than ever before have got involved in Middlesex's 2019 All Stars Cricket programme.
To build on the success of the first half of this summer of cricket, Middlesex have today announced the launch of All Stars Phase Two - to give more youngsters the opportunity to try this wonderful game.
Four centres across the county will be running brand new taster sessions - our "Have A Go" sessions, where for two hours youngsters can pick up a bat, pick up a ball, have fun and get involved in the game. It's a brilliant way to 'try before you buy'.

Speaking of the launch of All Stars Phase Two, Sharon Eyers of Middlesex Cricket's Participation Team commented:
"Our aims were to give a minimum of 3000 young people in Middlesex the opportunity to play cricket through our All Stars programme and to raise sufficient funds to support a third of these with through a bursary scheme.
"To date we've had over 2,750 children enrol in the programme and we are confident that the launch of our second phase will see us surpass our target of 3,000 participants. Of those that have got involved to date, 578 have come through our bursary scheme - again something which we are very proud of and are delighted with.
"If you're a young cricket lover, who fancies meeting new friends, having fun and getting active, then look no further than our All Stars Cricket programme"
