JOB VACANCY - EVENTS & HOSPITALITY EXECUTIVE

We are hiring ~ Events & Hospitality Executive

Salary ~ £20,000 - £23,000

The Events & Hospitality Executive will report to the Head of Events & Operations. Duties of the role will be divided into the following areas and include;

Events

Administration of Events, including, but not limited to; booking, invoicing, ticketing and relevant communications to attendees.

Assist in the execution and delivery of all events run by the Club, including match day activations.

Assist in the delivery of ECB match day sponsorship activation during T20 Blast.

Assist in the delivery of match presentation during T20 games at out-grounds including, but not limited to, the host, audio-visual contractors and entertainment.

Assist in the set up and de-rig of all home out-ground matches, including liaison with suppliers and venues.

Match Day Hospitality

Administration of Middlesex & International matchday hospitality bookings, including, but not limited to; booking, invoicing, ticketing and relevant communications to clients.

Assist in the execution on the day of the International and Middlesex hospitality experience.

Operations

Assist as and where necessary in the delivery of matchday operations, including support of the Cricket department.

General Duties

Work closely with the Commercial Team to ensure all stock is utilised and all rights are delivered in relation to sponsor contracts.

Assist in the day to day communication with members, including answering general enquiries and general office duties.

Working with multiple departments to ensure smooth execution of events and communication with all stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will have;

Minimum of 1 ½ years’ experience working in an event or hospitality-based role, preferably in a sporting environment.

Clear and concise written and verbal communications skills.

Fluent in the use of word, excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent attention to detail, yet the ability to multi-task.

Strong interpersonal & organisation skills.

Confident when liaising with colleagues, clients & suppliers.

A can-do, positive, friendly attitude with the

Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines.


You need to have an ability & willingness to work flexibly, mainly from Lord’s Cricket Ground, with occasional travel to off-site events. This role will include working at weekends and into the evenings, especially during the Cricket season. Any extra hours worked given as time in lieu.
