North Middlesex Cricket Club is seeking a Head Grounds Person for their Park Road ground.
The role is a full-time position with a competitive salary commensurate to experience and skills.

As Head Grounds Person, you will report to the Chairman, and your responsibilities will include the planning of the use of the ground, preparation of cricket pitches to an excellent standard (including outfield and boundaries) for all matches at Park Road, general ground maintenance and improvements (during and pre- and post-season), machinery maintenance (over recent years they have invested in new top of the range equipment), and other general duties as directed. While assistance will be provided for some tasks, this is very much a ‘hands on’ role.
About You
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working as a cricket grounds person and possess significant knowledge of cricket surface provision and management.
Candidates should be organised and proactive, remain calm in a busy and demanding environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and possess a flexible attitude to working hours (prepared to work weekends and bank holidays as required).

Deadline for applications: 8th January 2021
