Today, Middlesex Cricket can announce details of how Middlesex members can attend matches during the 2021 season.
Please note: Members do not need to purchase tickets themselves to attend matches in 2021, however please read the following information carefully, as it contains everything you need to know to attend matches.
Following the Government’s release of the roadmap out of Covid-19 lockdown earlier this week, we are delighted that we will be able to welcome members back into grounds this season, however it is evident that there will still be significant ongoing restrictions throughout the season that will impact on members attending our matches.
Given the ongoing disruption to members as a result of Covid-19, Middlesex Cricket CEO Richard Goatley yesterday released a statement to members acknowledging that the club would be compensating members for the loss of cricket this season, whilst also committing to reviewing the loyalty rewards given to 2020 members, to ensure that they receive the full benefit of those rewards, if not this year, then certainly in the future. Read his full statement HERE.
All members should be aware that for the 2021 season, due to ongoing restrictions on crowd capacities and the importance of venues being aware of spectator numbers in advance, valid 2021 membership cards may not guarantee automatic entry to Middlesex home matches, although rest assured priority will be given to members.
With our partners MCC, we are currently working through plans of how members can safely return to Lord’s, within the capacity and restrictions set out by the Government in step three of their roadmap out of lockdown plan during the period of 17th May to 20th June inclusive. We expect to be able to share this information with you soon.
Information on how Middlesex members can attend matches at out-grounds is listed further in this email.
Vitality Blast tickets will be available to purchase via tickets.lords.org from 10am on Monday 1st March for the following matches;
Thurs 24th June Middlesex v Essex Eagles
Thurs 1st July Middlesex v Sussex Sharks
Fri 16th July Middlesex v Kent
Middlesex members*/** are able to purchase either Pavilion Admission Tickets (1 per member and limited in number) and Rover tickets (up to 4 per member per match) for use by members’ guests at each of the above games. Tickets are available online only via tickets.lords.org.
* Not applicable to Affiliate Playing Members.
** Middlesex Junior and Teen members do not need to purchase a ticket for themselves, however, due to an update in the MCC's Safeguarding Ground Regulations, Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult for all matches at Lord’s. If the adult accompanying the Junior/Teen member is a non-member, a Rover Ticket must be purchased for them to sit with the Youth member in a members' area, which are on sale via tickets.lords.org on Monday 1st March at 10am for the following matches;
The match between Middlesex and Surrey is scheduled to take place on Thursday 10th June, and therefore MCC have decided not to place tickets for this match on sale on Monday.
IN ORDER TO PURCHASE TICKETS ON LORDS.ORG, MIDDLESEX MEMBERS MUST HAVE CREATED AN ACCOUNT ON THE LORD’S TICKET WEBSITE AND SENT MIDDLESEX THEIR LORD’S CLIENT REFERENCE CODE.
If you have already set up a Lord’s ticket account, and you were registered correctly to access the Middlesex members priority window for the India, Pakistan and New Zealand International matches you do not need to set up an account again.

MCC will be offering a full refund to all ticket purchasers in the event that tickets are cancelled due to the game not going ahead or capacities being reduced.
