Today at 10.30am, at Merchant Taylors’ School in Northwood, Middlesex will begin the first of three pre-season friendlies, as preparations for the 2021 season gather pace.
We take on Yorkshire in a two-day, red ball clash, played over today and tomorrow, Behind Closed Doors - under stage three Covid regulations.
Whilst members and supporters will be unable to attend the match to watch the action unfold in person, Middlesex will be producing an enhanced live stream of the encounter, giving fans the opportunity to relax and enjoy all the action over both days from the comfort and safety of their own homes. We’ll be joined on commentary by BBC London’s Kevin Hand, who will be guiding viewers through all the action over the two days ahead.
This season, Middlesex will be providing an enhanced live streaming service at each and every competitive home match, in all three competition formats, from Lord’s, Radlett and Merchant Taylors’ School, with the only exception at this stage being the Middlesex v Surrey Vitality Blast clash, due to rights restrictions, as the game is scheduled to be shown on Sky Cricket.
Middlesex have made Merchant Taylors’ School their home over the last few weeks, with Stuart Law’s side training throughout pre-season on the grass nets inside the marquee.
