Today, the Middlesex County Cricket League (MCCL) unveiled their squad for the two-day warm-up fixture against Middlesex at Old Merchant Taylors’ Cricket Club next week.
The red-ball clash, being played over Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th August, has been arranged to provide Middlesex with some competitive action ahead of the return of the County Championship, which kicks off again on 30th August at Lord’s, when Middlesex play Derbyshire in the first of four Divisional stage matches to end the season.
The MCCL side has been hand-picked from sides playing within the newly structured county wide competition, and features players from sides playing in the top three divisions of the MCCL league structure.
Kristian Martin of Ealing Cricket Club will Captain the league representative side, and Bob Baxter, Chairman of the MCCL will be the Team Manager.
