Head groundsperson

Eastcote Cricket Club, based in North West London, has a vacancy for a full time groundsperson to take charge of their two grounds, which includes a 16-wicket cricket square, outfield, and four artificial cricket nets. The club wishes to retain its reputation for high standard facilities.

Applicants should have significant responsibility for and experience of cricket ground preparation and maintenance.

The role involves sole responsibility for the ground.

Director of cricket

Eastcote CC is recruiting a Director of Cricket for the 2022 season and beyond.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to help revitalise a senior section. This individual will be committed to delivering a high standard of coaching across senior and junior cricket and to developing a high-quality product.

Role requirements:

UKCC Level 2 qualification or above (and relevant First Aid & Safeguarding certificates)
A passion for amateur cricket
An ability to alter the culture of the senior section by leading from the front with a strong personality and work ethic.

Role specification:

Develop and agree with the General Committee the strategic three-year cricket plan and execute on the agreed timetable and goals
Agree with the playing captains a coaching and development plan for the senior cricket
Co-ordinate cricket members to support playing and fund raising initiatives for the section
To be involved in selection
Coach the first team and senior sections on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s
As a player you would need to have an ability to win matches at top level
A strong desire to develop young players at a club who always gives youth an opportunity.
