Gunnersbury Women's Cricket Club are looking for a coach for the 2022 season to support their 1st and 2nd XI, as well as Old Elizabethans girls section.
Starting Date: 12th April 2022 and then every Tuesday until September 6th 2022.
Time: Girls session 5.45 - 6.30pm, followed by women's session: 6:30 – 8:00pm.
Offer: £65 per evening
Location: Old Elizabethans Cricket Club, Mays Lane, Barnet, EN5 2AG.
Facilities available: 4 lanes of nets, bowling machine, use of the outfield. Middle net available with cage upon request.
The women’s committee is passionate about having an improved training environment that we therefore hope will increase our membership numbers. Out first team play in the WCSL Premier League and our 2nd Team play in Middlesex Esme Irwin League. We have a mixture of players ranging in ability (from regional and county through to beginners or less experienced) and age (U13 - 70!). Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment and opportunities to play cricket at a level that is best suited to the individual. The club has a rich history of achievement with the first XI competing at a high level in T20 and 50 over competitions. The training sessions would need to accommodate the different levels and all aspects of the game.
Both teams play on a Sunday. If the coach would like to help manage the 2nd XI at venues around Middlesex, the committee would be interested in hearing a proposal on this.
