Martin burst onto the scene in 2018 after impressing on loan at Derbyshire. He promptly returned to Middlesex for the latter stages of the season, taking 12 wickets at an average of 19.91 in First-Class cricket during the year. Frustratingly, injury ruled Martin out of most of the 2019 season, but he returned again at the backend of 2019, showing his potential with bat in hand. We are excited at what 2020 could hold for Martin.

We caught up with all-rounder Martin Andersson at Lord's to discuss him signing a new contract until at least the end of 2024, as announced by the Club earlier today.
We are delighted to announce that all-rounder Martin Andersson is the latest player to sign a long-term contract extension with the Club.
Last night, both Martin Andersson and Naomi Dattani were appointed as PCA Committee representatives for Middlesex and Sunrisers & Lightning respectively.
Martin Andersson, Joe Cracknell, Max Holden and Thilan Walallawita have all signed extensions, whilst Dan Lincoln has been released.
