Tim Murtagh is undoubtedly a Middlesex legend, having taken over 800 wickets for the club. Seemingly evergreen at the age of 38, Tim took another 43 wickets in the County Championship last year at a miserly average of 17.60. The club were delighted to secure his future for another 2 years at the end of the 2019 season, as Tim confirmed his retirement from International cricket with Ireland. However, he went out on a high for his country, recording sensational figures of 5-13 against England at Lord’s.
